Evelyn Dugan won Food Network's "Chopped Junior" in 2016! Evelyn was on Season 3 Episode "Ears for Fears".
Evelyn found her love for cooking with her mom in the kitchen. They would have 30 minutes to cook dinner between when her mom and dad came home from work. Every night, they had their own version of chopped. They would open up the fridge and see what they could make with what we had.
Evelyn saw a sign at the YMCA when she was in the seventh grade with a website calling all interested children to apply for Food Network shows. She sent in videos created with her older sister, and after live cooking calls, wardrobe coordinating, recipe discussions, and logistic phone calls, Evelyn heard she was going to be on Chopped Jr. three months later!
She competed and won in October 2016!
